Abstract
The development of technology gives influence to various aspects of life, including art. One of the effects of these developments in the realm of art can be found in the creative process of making batik. This research is an experimental attempt to produce batik using acrylic-based stamp which is applied to cotton and silk fabrics. This study uses qualitative artistic research methods. The results obtained from the experiments are the ability of the material to create distinctive effects, as well as diagrams related to the use of technology in the batik making process.
